SCHEDULING: Classes run for 10 to 15 weeks, one week night (Tue or Thurs) from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays available for students to work on projects with limited assistance/supervision when needed. Sign-up to be notified when class dates are set. At that time, a deposit will be required to reserve a place in the class.
GENERAL CLASS FEATURES: Cost of class includes all material required (wood, glue, abrasives, finish, normal hardware), use of shop facilities (jointer, planer, 3 shapers, saws, routers, multi-router, wide belt sander, and spray booth). Classes are limited to 6 to 8 students.
INSTRUCTION INCLUDED: Choosing hardwoods (moisture content, kiln drying, sapwood, grading, etc.), safety in the shop, proper use of woodworking machinery, specific techniques depending upon the project you choose.
